• Aridaman Jit Singh, M.A. History
M.A. History from Kurukshetra University, an Ex-Senior Police Officer, trained as an infantry combatant at Border Security Force Academy 1983-1984 and performed as a Police Officer in Central Police Organizations of India(BSF/NSG). On internal security duties he had vast practical field experience of working with various state police organizations of Indian states and experienced first hand about pitfalls of these police organizations, their training, organizational structure and their retrograde role in provoking conflict and escalating violence. As Joint Assistant Director General, at country headquarters of B.S.F he headed field unit of Vigilance and Counter Intelligence. He also remain associated at Country Headquarters with policy making, planning and training until 2003. He was also associated with Union of India's Ministry of Home Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister's Office as its Nodal Officer.

During 20 years of working with government, in addition to operational field work, he gained rich practical experience in investigations and also worked in special courts as prosecutor and defense counsel in cases of corruption & heinous crimes of rape, murders.
He got vast practical experience in combat situations in anti terrorist/ counter insurgency operations and got acquainted with the challenges of common man in conflict situations of a transitional democracy and took voluntary retirement on completion of mandatory qualifying service of government of India in 2003.
After leaving government job, he did work as professional investigator and detective and also performed as trainer.
He got associated with NATO's High Readiness Forces(Land) as International Trainer and supported international training events of REDR too and simultaneously took to activism since 2003.
He began working on the issue of "Fake Encounters" and realized that the the "Fake Encounters" were a mere symptom of a rogue power formation of sick colonial legacy and entire "Security & Justice" sector needed a radical overhaul with complete deconstruction of existing anti people edifice and reinventing of pro-people public led police and Judiciary .
On realizing that it was the "Rogue" "Colonial Coercive Criminal Justice System" that formed back bone of authoritarian governance apparatus that was root cause of spiraling crime, corruption & injustices in the country, he launched the campaign "Power to People" to harness the strength of masses from the grass roots, to democratize the colonial governance apparatus and as a sequel to it embarked upon the journey of writing his experiences and analysis of flaws of the apparatus and sufferings of victims of this governance to generate awareness to give impetus to the campaign for "Civic Sovereignty" at the grassroots and freedom from slavery of post British Colonialism perpetuated by colonial Congress and other political actors.
"At War" Four Pillars of Falsehood & Public of republic is his first non fiction.

• Nayani Singh,B.B.A.
Nayani Singh completed her level 6 in Business & Administrative management and credit in law from Cardiff University, Wales. Her field of expertise is in multiple levels of management and strategic planning and research. She took to activism at very young age of 14 years and had her international travel experience from this very age. While studying with Air Force Bal Bharti Lodhi Road New Delhi, she actively involved in mass mobilization along with local NGOs to protest against Jessica lal murder case accused's acquittal. She has flair for writing and research interests towards social justice issues and as Co-author of "At War: Four Pillars of Falsehood & Public of Republic", she was instrumental on all the research work on historical perspective of India's freedom movement and legacy of establishment of anti-people governance apparatus and the draconian laws of post British India in relation to ongoing crisis of crime, corruption & resultant insurgency in India.
